The VII Miami International GuitART Festival 2022 - Officially Sponsored By GSI!

The 7th edition of the Miami International GuitART Festival (MIGF) will take place on February 19-27, 2022. This year, we are joining again as one of the official sponsors of the festival. The MIGF will be held in a hybrid model with virtual and in-person events hosted at the Florida International University School of Music in Miami. 

The list of all festival events includes 18 concerts, 6 masterclasses, six lectures, a classical guitar competition and more! Among the guest artists, we'll see Amazon Guitar Orchestra, Clarice Assad, Sergio Assad, Galy Martin, Eduardo Martin, Choro das três, Marco Sartor, Zaira Meneses, Martha Masters, Susana Frade, Aysegul Koca, Ozan Saritepe, Caterina Lichtenberg, Mike Marshall, Smaro Gregoriadou, Duo Siqueira Lima, Z.o.o. guitar duo, Rafael Padron, Bahar Ossareh, Nikita Nedelko, Daniela D'Ingiullo, Federico Bonacossa, Gohar Vardanyan, James Moore, Andie Tanning, Amernet String Quartet, Elaine Rinaldi, Koh Kezama and the MIGF artistic director, Mesut Özgen.

The festival will also feature the world premiere of Sergio Assad's new composition, "Voyages" which was originally scheduled for the previous edition of MIGF, but due to the Covid-19 pandemic, had to be postponed.

As in previous years, the festival will also include the Virtual Concert Artist Performance Competition open to guitarists from all countries and of all ages. The video application deadline is February 7th, 2022, so if you'd like to participate don't wait and make sure to apply!
